“Hey Guys, Come on in. I am so glad you stopped by. So sorry to be indisposed at the moment. Seems like I have a lot of ‘body repair’ work that is keeping me pretty busy at the moment. I promise to take time later to chat with you.” -Nate
If Nathan were writing this, I would imagine him saying something like that. Unfortunately, he has his hands full right now clinging to the life that God so graciously gave him 25 years ago. This website is designed to share with you the story of events that started with a tragic accident Sunday morning on the way to Grandpas for a family breakfast at the end of a wonderful Alumni weekend full of fun and family activities.
The ambulance arrived about 20 minutes after Nathan tumbled from his motorcycle for an unknown reason and came to rest against a telephone pole in a wheat field. He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where they stabilized him and then sent him by helicopter to Spokane’s Deaconess Hospital. After evaluation there, it was determined that Harbor View Hospital in Seattle was the best facility for meeting the needs of Nathan’s many injuries. He was back in the air and arrived at Harbor View about 5 pm on Sunday. Harbor View Hospital is the No 1 trauma hospital for Washington and the surrounding 4 states and is a teaching hospital with a host of talented and knowledgeable staff. Even with having God as his Primary Physician, we are still glad to have Nathan be in the hands of such capable caregivers.
On this website, Team-Nathan.com, you will be able to view pictures of Nathan and leave messages of encouragement. We have been amazed at the outpouring of love and prayers from his campus family at WWU, the many friends across the country in many states, from north of the border in Canada where he received his Bachelor’s degree from CUC, and of course from family and relatives.
This website has been designed so that everyone on Team-Nathan.com can be a part of his recovery process no matter where you currently are. For the many people around the country who need to know what to specifically pray for next, it will be right here on Team-Nathan.com. It is our purpose, thru prayer, to release God’s power to be manifest in Nathan’s recovery process.
